my experience with fls2n at the elementary level
when I was 8 years old my mom took me to athletic lessons. tried to follow but there were no results, finally my mom took me again to art lessons, namely traditional dance lessons. I followed and I liked it: dancing, and music. I continued to pursue it and when I already had basic movements in the field of dance I was included in the first competition with the ondel ondel dance in the mini park of indonesia indah, although the results did not win but it was an experience that I will never forget. in my studio each dance has a special test in order to get into the next dance which is more difficult. I succeeded in the ondel-ondel dance test but with unsatisfactory results. but by not giving up I kept trying.
There I learned how the movements of my friends and I must be compact, not allowed to precede or slow down, how I had to memorize the movements in each different dance, the spirit was in my body. for years I persevered until finally I entered grade 3 sd. I was active in extracurricular activities in the field of traditional dance. until the fls2n competition arrived. my teacher came to me and asked me to be a representative of flsn2n, I agreed.
I practiced with the traditional dance teacher at my elementary school, even at night I practiced without forgetting to make an effort. until the day came, the day of the fls2n competition. I was accompanied by my teacher and my parents. by looking beautiful with costumes and makeup. there were many students with various colorful costumes and different makeup.
There was an announcement from the loudspeaker that the dance competition started in 5 minutes. my dance teacher came and gave me the competition order card, with the order 05. I thought I had to be able to. entering the dance room and seeing the 3 judges lined up in front. no I was so scared that my heart pounded.
Seeing the other participants' dances made me even more challenged and excited. When my order was called, my friends and I rushed to my position facing the judges. My teacher, my parents and my friends were watching me from the outside mirror. They called out my name "spirit. When the competition was over, it was announced and my team won first place and could qualify for the next round.I couldn't believe it but I was so happy. I was so happy because I won through my own effort and struggle. I even aspired to become a dancer later. It was an unforgettable experience.
