Ajeng Salma Layla Amira, a 10th grader at State Senior High School 8 Jakarta (SMANDEL), was able to secure the copyright for her written work, "Optimization of 'Melon Gas' Distribution Policy Through Retailers Trackers and Monitoring System Based on Prophet Yusuf Peace Be Upon Him's Approach" (RETRACT), on August 1, 2025, coinciding the school's 67th anniversary. This written work was submitted to and earned a silver medal in the Jakarta International Science Fair 2025 invention competition, which was organized by International Young Scientist Association (IYSA) and the DKI Jakarta Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs last April. She was still enrolled in the ninth grade at Jakarta's 27 State Junior High School at the time. The Indonesian Ministry of Law's Directorate General of Intellectual Property verified and registered the RETRACT copyright on August 1, 2025, with number 943535.

The RETRACT written work was inspired by Prophet Yusuf's (peace be upon him) policies while serving as Egypt's Grand Treasury. In addition to technical skills such as collecting historical data and making precise risk forecasts, Prophet Yusuf (peace be with him) uses logistics management as a distribution strategy. When Egypt faced a natural disaster, Prophet Yusuf (peace be upon him) used a selective distribution technique based on the philosophical concept of fairness. Prophet Yusuf's (peace be upon him) intelligence, knowledge, and understanding of basic economic concepts enabled him to guide the Egyptian people through difficult times.

The essential concept behind RETRACT is the actual and equitable recording and analysis of community needs at each stage of the distribution chain, based on demand input from end users at all levels of the supply chain. Subsidized LPG will be delivered to the eligible public via an efficient monitoring and tracking system, limiting the likelihood of misdirected subsidies. Implementing excellent governance in the distribution of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) ensures that subsidy recipients are treated equitably and without discrimination, achieving the goal of impartial, objective, and transparent subsidies. The community's involvement in promoting awareness that subsidized gas is only available to certain segments of the population, as well as active participation in monitoring the program's operation, is crucial to its effectiveness.
